The activities under the project "Implementation of an innovative rotor system for the extractionof
electricity from low-pressure fluid flow", co-funded by the EU through the Programme
"Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises"; 2021-2027 have been completed.
"Metal Group Elite 2006" Ltd. developed and implemented in production a completely new end product -
innovative rotor system for the production of electricity from a renewable source. It
can generate electricity from flowing water with zero fall and low head, its efficiency is
determined only by the strength and velocity of the flow. The rotor system features a simple and
flexible design, low investment and operating costs, and a low environmental
footprint. Its operation does not involve construction activities, accumulation of water volumes
and diversion of the river from its bed. The product can be modified depending on
application conditions and demand.
The implementation of the steps of the project-developed strategy for the market
realization of the new product is ongoing, including innovative business processes for marketing, advertising and
logistics.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Its total budget is BGN 1 000 000, of which BGN 500 000 are
grants and the remaining BGN 500 000 are provided by Metal Group Elite 2006 Ltd.
