"Metal Group Elite 2006 EOOD signed a grant agreement No BG16RFPR001-1.003-0115 under the procedure "Introduction of Innovations in Enterprises" of the Operational Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027.
The project focuses on "Implementation of an innovative rotor system for electricity extraction from low-pressure fluid flow", protected by a utility model. The innovation falls under the ISIS 2021-2027 thematic area "Clean technologies, circular and low carbon economy".
The project activities consist in the acquisition of high-tech production equipment - a horizontal milling and drilling machine (boring machine), necessary for the production of the innovative product. The aim of Metal Group Elite 2006 is, by acquiring the new production capacity, to start the production of the innovative power extraction system and to market it according to the specific needs and application conditions of the customers. With the implementation of the innovation, the company will increase its production range with a new end product, expand its market presence in Bulgaria and abroad and stimulate innovation activity.

The project has a total value of BGN 1,000,000, with BGN 500,000 of the grant provided by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the remaining BGN 500,000 of own co-financing.
